Our story
Hi. I’m Chelsae.

Meet the Founder

I’m Chelsae—esthetician, small business owner of The 405 Esthetician for five years, a wife, and a mother.

But long before any of those roles, I was a little girl who learned very early how much safety matters.

I learned how deeply instability shapes a childhood.
How loud fear can feel inside a home.
How quietly women carry things they were never meant to carry alone.

And I learned what happens when support doesn’t come soon enough.

While working at Intervention and Crisis Advocacy Network, I believed advocacy would be my life’s work. I had plans to continue my education, go to college, and build a career supporting women rebuilding after crisis.

And then I lost my mother.

I was 21.

Grief doesn’t arrive quietly. It followed me into the rooms I worked in, into the stories I listened to, into every woman who sat across from me.

Over time, I realized I was no longer just supporting survivors.
I was reliving pieces of my own story through theirs.

I began carrying more than I could hold.

So I stepped away.

Not because the work didn’t matter—but because it mattered too much.

I went to esthetician school.
I built something new.
Something lighter.
Something I could survive.

But the work never left me.
The stories never left me.
The “what if” never left me.

Last summer, at a lash conference in Houston, everything shifted.

A speaker asked the room to stand if we had ever been in a domestic violence relationship.

Almost every woman stood.

Hundreds of us.
Strong. Successful. Talented women.

And I remember thinking:

We are all standing…but what are we building?

In that moment, the vision became clear.

Beauty and advocacy didn’t have to live separately.
The same industry that empowers women could also protect them.

That’s when 405 For Her stopped being a quiet idea,
and became something I could no longer ignore.

405 For Her is for every woman standing at the edge of a decision that could change her life.

It’s for me.
For you.
For your sister.
For your best friend.
And for my mother.

She deserved safety.
She deserved support.
She deserved more time.

I live every day knowing that stronger systems, earlier interventions, and tangible resources might have changed the trajectory of her life.

I cannot rewrite her story.

But I can help rewrite someone else’s.

That is why 405 For Her exists.
